Mission Briefing

You're running four instruments at once, the way a cockpit actually demands it. Nothing here waits for you — miss one and the others keep running.

• Altitude tape — the aircraft drifts up or down at a constantly changing, random speed. Press any key, any time, to reverse its direction — keep it out of the red before it breaches.
• Transponder — a code flashes constantly. When the light goes green, retype the code shown at that instant before it clears.
• Gauge reading — when you hear a tick, note the number the arrow is pointing to on the vertical gauge before it's overwritten.
• Nav computer — 15 arithmetic problems queued for the flight. Clear as many as you can between the other three.
